A cornerstone of traditional American bowyery, Hard Maple is renowned for its density, bright aesthetic, and structural strength. Sourced primarily from the our local area here in the heart of northern Wisconsin. Maple sapwood—which is the most desired part of the tree—ranges from a crisp, creamy white to a light golden hue. The grain is typically closed and straight, though it can occasionally feature subtle waves. Its legendary hardness and fine, uniform texture make it a great product for high-performance bow components and custom craftsmanship.
